We are pleased to invite you to the 4th Obuda University Space Day, held under the theme:

“Responsible and Sustainable Space for European Resilience”

Date and time: 4 November 2026, 13:00-17:00
Venue: Obuda University, Building A, Room F09 (96/B Bécsi Street, Budapest, Hungary)

Space systems have become critical infrastructure for Europe. Secure connectivity, navigation and Earth observation underpin public services, economic activity, crisis response and national security.

At the same time, geopolitical tensions, cyber threats, climate extremes, increasingly congested orbits and intensifying global competition are testing the resilience of these systems.

The 4th Obuda University Space Day will bring together European and Central and Eastern European decision-makers from government, industry and academia. The programme will explore how responsible operations, sustainable innovation and stronger regional cooperation can translate space capabilities into greater security, strategic autonomy and competitiveness for Europe.

Participants can look forward to high-level keynote presentations, practical use cases, a CEE space-industry roundtable and dedicated networking opportunities. The preliminary programme is attached.

Participation is free of charge, but registration is required.
