Obuda University Space Day
On 31 March 2025, the SpaceLab of Obuda University hosted the Space Day, a professional event aimed at presenting the latest results of Hungarian space research and strengthening cooperation between the scientific, industrial and educational sectors.
The event featured a series of presentations on innovation, research and education, with 15 renowned national and international presenters sharing their experiences. Representatives of renowned companies and institutions such as UniSpace, CanSatLab,Puli Space, McGill University, Design Terminal and eCon Engineering Ltd.
The popularity of the event is reflected in the attendance of nearly 200 participants, which provided an excellent opportunity for professional dialogue and networking.
The day concluded with a round table discussion on ‘University Space Labs for Research, Innovation and Education’. The aim of the discussion was to present a comprehensive overview of space research activities in higher education institutions in Hungary and to provide an opportunity for an exchange of views on future cooperation opportunities for university space laboratories.
The event was not only an opportunity to build professional contacts, but also to promote space research and the innovation activities of Obuda University among young people.
